Discovered by producer/director team Jun Wakabayashi and Naraelle Barrows while performing in a UW production of "How I Learned to Drive," Miyahara had just recently begun her acting career. However, Miyahara has had plenty of experience in front the camera as a model. She was a recepient of Silver Award at the Performing Arts Championship Competition and also appeared in the New York Model Contracts Convention.

A native of California and fourth-generation Japanese, Miyahara can next be seen in Genuine Productions' "Johnny Hollywood's Next Movie" from director Chas Messmer.
