Born in Ibaraki prefecture, Japan in 1975, this slender actress didn't start acting until she was 25 years old.
Shoji studied psychology in college, but after working for a couple of years, she was suddenly inspired to pursue her career in acting.
After taking acting lesson for two years, Shoji participated in various projects including modeling, TV dramas, and musicals, while still maintaining a day job.
Recently her interest in India grew to a massive proportion, and she plans on moving there soon to learn more about its culture and medicine.

大学では心理学を専攻。
25歳で女優を志し、2年ほど演劇を学ぶ。
これまでに映画・TVドラマ・ミュージカルなど、様々なジャンルの作品への出演経験を持つ。また、ブライダルショーや広告などのモデルも務める。
現在は、仕事をしながら女優としても活動中。
最近は、インド伝承医学アーユルヴェーダに強い関心を抱いており、本格的に学ぶために今秋渡印する予定。
自らの感覚を大切にしながら、常に前向きに生きる姿が彼女の魅力でもある。
