Yamasaki was an assistant director at one of the Japanese TV production companies when he met director Jun Wakabayashi.
Wakabayashi immediately recognized Yamasaki's hard work ethics and talent, and asked him to help out with his TV productions, in return teaching him how to edit on editing suites.
In this production, Yamasaki helped a lot behind the camera as well, becoming one of Wakabayashi's most trusted assistants on the set. |

1976年10月 東京生まれ。
大学で、アメリカ・イギリス文学と社会学を専攻する。
主に、米人種問題の研究に勤しむ。
大学卒業後に、映像制作会社に就職し、そこでJun監督と出会うこととなる。その会社を退社してからは、フリーランスとして番組制作、WEBコンテンツ制作、ブライダル映像等の撮影にカメラマンとして携わる。
現在は、CS番組1本、8月からスタートするTVK新番組の制作、同局放送のTVショッピング番組の制作、ブライダル映像制作など、諸々の番組制作の傍ら、制作会社の立ち上げに向けて日々、奔走中である。
いずれは、自主制作のショートムービーを撮りたい・・・。それが彼の夢の１つである。
今回の「LIFE」への参加がいかに実ってゆくのか、待ち遠しいところだ。
