A classically trained singer and musician, Barrows first worked with Jun Wakabayashi by composing the score for his 30-second Lifestyles condoms commercial. A couple of years later, she shared writing and directing credit with Wakabayashi for their collaborative project, "Hooked On Prom" in which she was also responsible for the soundtrack.
Barrows traveled around the world after she finished her degree at Bellevue Community College, and stayed in Germany for a while.
Her soothing vocal talent suited perfectly for this delicate looking into your life project. She contributes four songs for Life.

ジュン監督作品のLifestylesブランドCMのBGM担当がきっかけで二人は一緒に仕事をすることになる。その後二人は何度も一緒に仕事をするようになり、1999年にはショートフィルム、"Hooked On Prom" の脚本、製作、監督を二人で担当。
幼い頃から作曲、作詞そして歌っているバローズは今までに何十曲も自分で製作している。短大を卒業した後は世界を見るためインド、ドイツなどと短期滞在もする。現在はまた出身地でもあるシアトルへ戻り文化の勉強を続けている。
今回は作品「ＬＩＦＥ」のテーマに合いそうなオリジナルの４曲を提供している。 |
