Born in Hokkaido, Japan in 1980, Kanako moved to Shizuoka at age of 3.
She stayed in Shizuoka until end of high school. There develped passion for foreign languages/cultures through watching all kinds of movies.
Yajima moved to Tokyo to attend Sohpia University. During her college years, she took part in movie making classes and made some digital short films.
After graduating as the head of English department, she studied the basics of film translation at Fellow Academy.
Fluent in both English and Japanese, Yajima helped people with communication, and was also responsible for rolling her digital camera for some behind the scene footages. |

1980年 北海道生まれ
3歳の時に北海道より転居し、幼少・中高時代を静岡で過ごす。
その頃から映画を通し、外国言語・文化への関心・情熱を高める。
上智大学の英語学科を首席で卒業、というかなり優秀な成績を
修めるほど語学堪能である。
学生時代は主専攻の英語言語学の傍ら、映画製作のクラスの
プロジェクトとしてデジタル短編映画の撮影経験もある。
卒業後は仕事をしながら、翻訳の専門学校フェローアカデミーにて
映像翻訳の基礎を学ぶ。
撮影中、ハンディカメラでキャスト＆スタッフの様子を録画し、
英語と日本語の橋渡しをしてくれたのは、勿論、彼女である。 |
