Born 1980 in Stavanger, Norway.
Austigard grew up in Norway for most of his life until fall of 2003 when he decided to come to Japan. His love for Japan grew during his study at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology where he studied architecture. He received scholarship to continue studying architecture at prestigious Tokyo University in Japan.
Using his knowledge in architecture and perceiving things three-dimentionally, Austigard volunteered to be the lighting director on the set of Life production.
He is currently writing a short mystery screenplay, hoping to direct his own film some day. |

1980年 ノルウェー・スタヴァンゲル生まれ。
2000年秋より、ノルウェー科学技術大学にて建築を学ぶ。
日本の文化や建築に関心を持ち、2003年秋に来日。
現在は、東京大学にて建築について更に学びを深めている。
この数年間は、映画鑑賞をはじめ、映画に関する知識を広めつつある。
その一環で、「LIFE」スタッフへ応募し、初めて映画製作に
関わることになる。
建築で培った光と影の感覚と、長身をフルに活かし、彼の担当は照明となる。
幾度にもおよぶ細かい照明の調節や、長時間レフ板をじっと持った彼からは、
映画製作に対する貪欲な姿勢が垣間見える。
